2 New Additions to SkyLand’s Festival of Lights at The Ranch

The holiday season is the most magical time of the year in the Smokies! Are you looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate Christmas in Sevierville? Head to SkyLand Ranch to experience SkyLand’s Festival of Lights at The Ranch! This annual celebration is returning bigger and brighter than ever, with two new additions to add even more excitement and holiday cheer! Keep reading to find out more about them.

1. Jingle Bell Jamboree

One of the new additions to SkyLand’s Festival of Lights at The Ranch is Jingle Bell Jamboree, which takes place on select nights from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Kick off your evening at The Ranch with a whimsical pre-event tailored to children 12 and under. Your kids can take part in a Christmas trail featuring candy and treat stops, a “Where’s Dozer” scavenger hunt, Letters to Santa, face painting, crafts, and more! Additionally, the whole family can have fun with live holiday music, festive animal encounters, and seasonal games and activities!

2. The "Very Merry Late Show"

There’s even more holiday fun to be had with The “Very Merry Late Show” during SkyLand’s Festival of Lights at The Ranch! With performances on festival evenings at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM, this original live production highlights classic Christmas movies with humor, heart, and engaging audience interaction. You can also enjoy a unique culinary experience with a festive menu of Christmas movie-themed food and treats! This event is sure to fill the entire family with holiday cheer!

SkyLand’s Festival of Lights at The Ranch has so much to offer! This family-friendly holiday celebration showcases more than one million lights along with immersive displays and the only chairlift light show in the Smoky Mountains! This gives families a one-of-a-kind holiday experience in the Smokies like no other! There’s also daytime fun during Christmas on The Ranch, featuring seasonal shopping, dining, ranch animals, and holiday photo opportunities. Beginning at 6:00 PM on select nights, The Ranch transforms into the Festival of Lights until 9:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to experience the wonder of twinkling lights over Sevierville!

Do you have questions about SkyLand’s Festival of Lights at The Ranch? Here are answers to frequently asked questions about the festival:

Do we have to ride the chairlift?
The Festival of Lights is best enjoyed by chairlift. However, there is a shuttle available for alternate access. Please be aware that by riding the shuttle, you will miss some of the light structures that are on the mountain, but in no way will you miss the beauty and holiday excitement at The Ranch.

Is the event included with General Admission?
When you purchase tickets to visit SkyLand Ranch during the Festival of Lights, the event will be included in our General Admission with Festival of Lights ticket options.

What is your weather policy?
All tickets are non-refundable. In the event of a weather closure (at discretion of The Ranch), we will move tickets to another evening.
